Happy Birthday to Megan!

Happy 21st birthday to my curly-haired other half! Congratulations on being legally able to do everything except rent a car (right?).

I'll keep this short and sweet because we're about to leave on a fun adventure today in honor of YOU and we're all really excited to go.

This is the first birthday of yours that we have been able to celebrate together in THREE YEARS! That is a long time. You are such a hardworking and strong person and I am so proud of you and what you have overcome and accomplished over the past year and beyond. You are a spectacular lady who I am overjoyed to call my sister. Plenty of other people wish they had a sister as great as you (obviously). You are what I want to be when I grow up (except I don't want to be an accountant).

I love you so much and I'll be sure to give Mom and Dad an extra hug today for providing me with the cutest baby sister in the world.

Happy Birthday, M!

This is my favorite little sister, Megan. Today she is 20!

London

This is the most recent picture I have of the two of us and it is six months old. I don't know about you, Meg, but that is way too old for me.

Megan and I are exactly the same and completely opposite. Simultaneously. She's the prettiest, smartest, and snarkiest lady I know. And she's not a teenager anymore. I'm pretty sure you know what you mean to me, but just in case you don't, you should remember how I let you borrow my favorite shoes even though I know that your big feet stretch them out. If that's not true love, I don't know what is.

Welcome to your twenties, Meg! Happy birthday and I can't wait to see you in a month or two (I hope!). Next year we'll spend it together and it will be the best.

A Wicked Birthday

The 7th was my birthday and Forrest took me to see Wicked. We were three rows from the front and it was a really great show. The day before the show, we celebrated with some friends and a cake. A really cute cake.

Forrest really went all out on this one.

We went to the Museum of London before the performance and took the Tube from Baker Street, which happens to be my favorite station in London. It is also one of the very first Underground stations ever, so there's a fun fact.

London was looking very Christmasy and sparkly. It was a perfect day with no rain and not too freezing. I was wearing my new (birthday!) rain boots so I was kind of hoping it would rain-just a little. Alas, I had to make do with walking through existing puddles.

HBD to me!
